About the Role

Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a fulfilling opportunity? Join our team on a casual basis (2 days per week) and embark on a meaningful journey with us. 

In this community-based role, you'll visit elderly individuals in their homes across the Gold Coast, providing them with the essential care they need to maintain their independence and quality of life. 

Your responsibilities will include providing a range of clinical support services, such as medication administration, wound care, observations, catheter care, stoma care and PEG feeding. You'll also conduct a variety of comprehensive assessments, including evaluations of cognitive function and continence.

Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in developing customised care plans, educating customers on their health conditions, and providing training to our frontline support workers.

As a valued member of our team, you’ll also work closely with our Clinical, Scheduling, Customer Care, and Service Delivery teams. Together, we'll ensure that our customers receive exceptional care and enjoy a positive service experience at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration - Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to provide skilled nursing services and demonstrate recency of practice
  • Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly (experience in community nursing would be ideal)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Double COVID vaccinated and willing to undergo a functional assessment
